The Giver is a thriller dystopian society novel. While reading this book you never know what to expect and it keeps you thinking on every page that you turn. One reason that I really enjoyed this book was because of the overall concept. It takes you into a whole new world that you would never expect and it shows you new realities that can help broaden your imagination.

The One by Kiera Cass is dystopian fiction and the third book in the series. It’s finally time for the winner of the Selection to be announced. As the end approaches, so do threats outside the palace, and America realizes how much she actually has to lose and how hard she’ll have to work to get her dreams back. She must make one final decision. This book was a great way to finish the series. There were plot twists I wasn’t expecting. I loved seeing the development of friendship between the characters.

The fight for Prince Maxon’s love is intense as can be but America is still confused as to what her heart wants; to live the life she could have never imagined with Maxon or live her life the way she always thought she would with Aspen.

Klara and the Sun by Kazuo Ishiguro takes place in a hypothetical, dystopian future where the world has less socially and culturally developed children. This technologically advanced society crafts emotionally intelligent robots who are geared to become friends with their patron. Ishiguro’s novel follows the robot AF (artificial friend), Klara, and her journey.

The line between good and bad is fine, and she must decide what to do when past enemies show. It’s time to end the fight; there are tough choices to be made. But which side will Juliette fight on? This book was a great way to finish the series. It was so satisfying. I loved the bond between the characters after everything they have been through.
